ABOUT ME
My name is Sam King and I've always been fueled by music.
My first experiences in the music industry were in artist management, working for up and coming artists where the only way to gain traction was with creativity and being ahead of the curve. By establishing respect with artists, I positioned myself to begin tour managing my sophomore year of college at the University of Southern California, doing my coursework on flights between shows. By the time I graduated, I already had years of experience in artist management, complimented by a growing knowledge of tour management.
Since then I have traveled to corners of the world, navigating cultural barriers to deliver full production shows and flawless hospitality within the capabilities of local infrastructure. I have developed my own style of artist hospitality and have been recruited by festivals, venues, and artists of every genre. My diverse experience gives me a 360° understanding of an event, and allows me to create the best possible experience for all parties involved. I always go the extra mile and exceed expectations for artist, crew, and fans alike.
My experiences in touring include on the road tour & production management and tour consulting & direction for artists not yet ready to have someone out on the road full time, or just looking for some guidance or help in specific areas. Whether it's a full scale tour production, remote help with travel, or consulting on specific routing, I'm happy to work with artists and teams of every genre and size.
